Bow & Hammer Kathryn Satoh, violin, Elizabeth Newkirk, piano, formed their Chicago-based collaboration in 2012, after introductions at the 2010 Orvieto Musica festival in Orvieto, Italy. Moved by the emotional power of repertoire for violin and piano, Bow & Hammer strives to share poignant programs with their audience. Through this mission, they hope to refresh the relevancy of quality and complex music within daily life.
