To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the passing of Claude Debussy (1862-1918), the Fine Arts Music – Performance and Scholarship and Notre École de Musique are proud to present French pianist Jean-Louis Haguenauer.
Mr. Haguenauer, a Professor of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, will give a solo recital on Friday, February 9th, at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the works of Debussy, this performance will also include pieces from François Couperin, Frédéric Chopin, Franz Schubert & Karlheinz Stockhausen.
The proceeds from this recital are to be donated to Notre École de Musique, a bilingual conservatory scheduled to open later this year, which will honor the best of the French musical and academic traditions.
